Difficulties creating a resume

• Making it visible in a simple, straightforward format

• Need an objective tightly focused on the job I am applying to

• Use of limited word choices on my work history part

• Repetitive words made the work history part chunky, which did not catch eyes

What revisions I have made?

• Put short two sentences clear and straightforward; eliminating all the rhetorics and verbose sentences

• Revised some of the verbs that sound more proactive, dynamic

• Eliminate redundant words/sentences

• Added language skills

• Get rid of repetitive words, such as "team-oriented", "attention to detail", and "extremely punctual"

What is my best entry and why?​​

• Not only experienced in different fields, I made successful outcomes in every field I experienced

• Majority on the work history is quantifiable and visible outcomes

• Not vague, very clear

What I learned from this assignment?

- How different resume styles are depending on the nation

Korean style vs. American style

• Korean resume requires very detailed explanations on each work experience, including reasons for applying for this job related to the work history, ambitions, and the future plan

• American resume needs to be simple and straightforward based on facts
